About this test
The question is popular, but the answer is not a contest between two labels. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that only a professional can assess, and IQ is estimated with standardized tests. This quiz does not diagnose ADHD, measure your IQ or tell you which of the two you are.
What it can do, for educational and entertainment purposes, is explore two axes that are often mixed together: attention variability —losing track, shifting focus and regulating attention— and analytical reasoning —spotting patterns, organizing problems and checking hypotheses—. Look at the full chart: a high axis does not confirm a diagnosis or define your overall intelligence.
Frequently asked questions
Can this quiz tell me if I have ADHD?
No. ADHD requires a full clinical assessment, including personal history and context; an entertainment quiz cannot diagnose it.
Does it measure my IQ?
No. IQ comes from standardized tests administered and interpreted by professionals. This quiz only explores a few reasoning situations.
Why are ADHD and high intelligence mentioned together?
Both topics are discussed heavily online, but they are not opposites or equivalents. You can have any combination of attention, creativity, reasoning and other abilities.
What if I am worried about my attention?
If difficulties persist and affect your studies, work, relationships or wellbeing, talk with a mental health professional for an appropriate evaluation.
